Modafinil

Modafinil is a stimulation drug that is primarily prescribed to treat sleep disorders such as narcolepsy, sleep apnea, and shift work sleep disorder. In order to provide relief, it helps promote wakefulness and reduce excessive daytime sleepiness.

Unlike other sleeping pills, this one does not work on GABA neurotransmitters, it works by influencing dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin. Triggering these chemicals, the drug increases brain activity and processes.
